Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced and skilled Stocking Team Supervisor to join our team at the Walmart Supercenter #5329, located at 4435 W Anthem Way, Anthem, AZ, 85086. As a Stocking Team Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading our stocking team, ensuring that our store is always fully stocked and that our customers have an excellent shopping experience. This is a full-time, hourly position that offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $20 - $32 per hour, as well as annual or quarterly performance incentives and additional premiums for specific circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stocking team, including unloading trucks, stocking new freight, and maintaining a safe and organized backroom environment
 - Ensure that all merchandise is properly received, stored, and stocked on shelves in a timely and efficient manner
 - Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, and ensure that all team members are properly trained and certified to operate equipment safely
 - Conduct regular inventory audits and implement processes to minimize shrinkage and maximize inventory accuracy
 - Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
 - Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively
 - Collaborate with other departments, such as sales floor and logistics, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
 - Analyze sales data and inventory levels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
 - Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise
 
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
 - 2+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or related field, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
 - Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, including receiving, storing, and stocking merchandise
 - Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
 - Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts
 - Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management software and systems
 - Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for operating heavy machinery
 - Experience with performance metrics and data analysis
 - Strong organizational and time management skills
