Job Overview

This is a 100% remote, full-time position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, providing you with full control over your work environment. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from identifying potential candidates to closing deals. You will work closely with hiring managers, the recruiting team, and external resources to build a network of top talent in the IT and ERP industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential candidates' qualifications through resume reviews, interviews, and other forms of communication
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and the recruiting team to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Coordinate interviews, negotiate salaries and rates, and obtain Letters of Intent and Exclusivity as needed
  • Maintain contact with candidates to keep them informed about the status of their applications
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment methods to attract top talent in the IT and ERP industries
  • Vet potential candidates' credentials and provide advice to hiring managers on salary negotiations
  • Facilitate contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
  • Attend job fairs and industry conferences to promote EDC Consulting and attract potential candidates
  • Utilize multiple career boards, Applicant Tracking Systems, and other recruitment tools to source candidates

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical and/or human resources field
  • At least 3 years of related recruiting experience, with prior experience in technical roles a plus
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with IT professionals, ERP applications, and security clearances
  • Knowledge of the Federal government's recruitment processes and procedures
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, such as JobDiva
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with external resources
