Key Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Teletherapy Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting individualized teletherapy sessions tailored to each student's unique needs, goals, and objectives.
  • Developing, implementing, and assessing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that align with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborating with parents, educators, and support staff to promote student success and ensure a cohesive approach to education.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need:

  • A valid Special Education certification in the state of New Jersey.
  • At least 2 years of experience in special education or a related field, with a proven track record of success in supporting students with diverse needs.
  • A strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
