Key Responsibilities

  • Building Rapport and Trusting Relationships: Establish strong connections with our members, creating a foundation for effective therapy and support.
  • Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough initial and follow-up assessments to understand each member's unique needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
  • Person-Centered Therapeutic Treatment Plans: Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address the specific goals and objectives of each member.
  • Progress Monitoring and Support: Regularly evaluate and support members' progress toward their goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead group therapy sessions, providing a supportive environment for members to share their experiences and learn from one another.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced Education: A Master's degree in Social Work or a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
  • Clinical Licensure: A clinical license to practice in the state of New York (additional licenses in FL, TX, and/or NC are a plus).
  • Experience in Eating Disorders: At least 2 years of experience working in the field of eating disorders.
  • Experience with Families and Adolescents: At least 2 years of experience working with families and adolescents.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations.
  • Electronic Health Records Experience: Familiarity with electronic health records and ability to document accurately and efficiently.
  • Cultural Competence: Experience working with diverse communities, including those with diverse identities, such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic background.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Speaking Engagements and Research: Interest in participating in speaking engagements and/or research opportunities.
  • Therapeutic Treatment Modalities: Experience with a range of therapeutic treatment modalities.
  • Insurance Network Credentials: Credentials with Aetna, Cigna, and other insurance networks.
