The Role: Case Aide - Entry-Level Social Work Support

As a Case Aide with Pressley Ridge, you'll play a vital role in supporting children and families in Dauphin County. You'll work collaboratively with our team and community partners to ensure that families receive the care and resources they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build partnering relationships with families and community members to address the needs of children and their families.
  • Transport children and families as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Supervise children during family visits, emergency placements, court proceedings, and other activities.
  • Report any significant behaviors or conversations to the relevant team members.
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Complete all paperwork in a timely and professional manner, ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance.
  • Maintain flexibility and creativity in working a non-traditional schedule to accommodate service needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Clearances: State Police, FBI clearance, child abuse clearance, and CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training.
  • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children and families in a social work or related field.
  • Familiarity with community resources and services.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
