About the Role: Leading Educational Excellence Remotely
As our ideal candidate, you'll be an experienced educational leader with a passion for early childhood development. You'll oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of our preschool programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of educational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Driving Educational Success
- Curriculum Development & Implementation: Stay abreast of the latest curriculum advancements, evaluation frameworks, and pedagogical methodologies to inform our educational programs.
 - Leadership & Team Collaboration: Work closely with educators to develop a tailored curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our scholars, and support them in creating a safe, engaging, and authentic learning environment.
 - Evaluation & Assessment: Conduct regular evaluations of educators based on CLASS and ECERS standards, providing constructive feedback to enhance teaching practices.
 - Scholar-Centered Programming: Develop and maintain a program that encourages social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in our scholars.
 - Operational Management: Ensure the facility is safe and conducive to learning, manage the school's budget with diligence and transparency, and champion high attendance rates for both scholars and staff.
 - Mentorship & Training: Mentor, inspire, and train teachers and staff through effective leadership, and participate in the hiring, training, and assessment of teaching personnel.
 - Community Engagement: Oversee tours, orientations, recruitment efforts, and social media outreach to foster a strong sense of community among our stakeholders.
 
Essential Qualifications & Skills: What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Early Childhood Education Expertise: A strong background in Early Childhood Education, with a deep understanding of child development principles and Pre-K/3K curriculum.
 - Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leadership roles within educational settings, with a track record of effective supervision, mentorship, and team collaboration.
 - Technical Skills: Proficiency in computerized data collection systems, and experience with remote learning technologies such as Zoom and Class Dojo.
 - Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 - Organizational & Time Management Skills: Effective time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage stress and prioritize tasks competently.
 
Preferred Qualifications: What Will Set You Apart
- Knowledge of Educational Regulations: Familiarity with relevant educational regulations and standards, including the Department of Education (DOE) Core Curriculum Content Standards.
 - Experience with Curriculum Development: Experience in developing and implementing curriculum that meets the diverse needs of scholars.
