Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and Optimize Enterprise Applications: Evaluate error logs, server performance, and system resources to ensure the health and performance of our enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Effectively manage Help Desk tickets related to enterprise applications, troubleshoot issues, and escalate matters as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay Ahead of Software Changes: Review patches, updates, and release notes to stay informed on software changes and recommend necessary software enhancements to improve application performance and security.
- Lead Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing process for new software versions or updates, manage test environments, and analyze results to ensure quality assurance and minimize the risk of deployment issues.
- Project Lead for Application Implementation and Updates: Develop project plans, lead the implementation or update of enterprise applications, and ensure timely completion of objectives to meet organizational needs.
- Production Environment Management: Coordinate with vendors for installations and upgrades, and oversee the creation and maintenance of production environments to ensure smooth application operation.
- Vendor Relations Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors to address issues, request fixes, and manage software updates, ensuring effective support and issue resolution.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Comprehensive Knowledge: A deep understanding of enterprise applications, including document management and accounting systems, as well as infrastructure, server environments, and network communications.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in various desktop operating systems, software, and packaging practices, with demonstrated ability to install, configure, and maintain enterprise applications effectively.
- SQL Server Experience: Essential experience with SQL Server and SQL scripting to manage and optimize database performance.
- Microsoft Technologies: Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Group Policy, is beneficial for enhancing your skillset and contributing to our IT environment.
- iManage Certification: iManage certification is preferred, demonstrating specialized knowledge in document management systems.
