Key Responsibilities

As a Guest Teacher with Scoot Education, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality educational instruction to students in a variety of subjects, including Kinder, Early Years, Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, High, SpEd, and Special Ed
• Creating and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs
• Building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and school administrators
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• Background check (we'll cover the cost of this)
• A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Teaching experience in a variety of subjects, including Math, Science, STEM, English, ELA, History, Social Studies, PE, Music, Art, Drama, and Theater Studies
• Experience working with students with diverse needs, including IEPs and special education
• Familiarity with trauma-informed teaching practices and classroom management strategies
