Job Summary
As an Online Instructor - Sociology, you will be responsible for teaching online courses in sociology, supporting the institution's mission and vision, and maintaining currency in your teaching discipline. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality online courses in sociology, aligning with the college's curriculum and standards.

Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in sociology or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in sociology.
- Certifications: Certification in online teaching is highly preferred.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience, particularly in online or distance education, is highly valued.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage students and colleagues in an online environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Online Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching online or in a distance education setting.
- Sociology Expertise: Specialized knowledge or expertise in specific areas of sociology, such as criminology, social inequality, or cultural studies.
