Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Shared Services Center (SSC) in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in driving financial operations, strategic decision-making, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a partnership philosophy within the Shared Services arrangement to foster collaboration and trust among stakeholders.
 - Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvements and driving strategic decision-making.
 - Conduct accurate, timely, and valuable financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy implementation.
 - Lead and manage a team of full-performance level employees, providing coaching, counseling, and mentoring to ensure their growth and development.
 - Oversee all aspects of accounting activities, including billing, supplier invoice processing, payment of travel expenses, and disbursing.
 - Ensure compliance with MCCS and other applicable policies and directives, and implement structured risk management throughout accounting operations.
 - Contribute to general business improvement initiatives in Finance and represent GBS at MCCS or external meetings/working groups.
 - Manage specific service agreement criteria, including interpretation and dispute resolution, and ensure obligations and deliverables are met.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred).
 - Five years of related and relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
 - High degree of skill in analytical reasoning and problem-solving.
 - Expert knowledge of program management and budgeting issues.
 - Skill in giving complex oral presentations and briefings.
 - Ability to carry out all digital functions and extensive experience in using Excel.
 - Thorough knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques.
 - Demonstrated excellence in accounting operations, reconciliations, and reporting.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
 - Extensive experience in different aspects of Financial Management, such as accounting, budgeting, and financial planning.
 - Prior experience working in a military and civilian environment.
 - Experience establishing and working within a Finance & Accounting SSC.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

- Salary range: $105,000 - $130,000 per year.
