About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative (Healthcare) - Remote, you will have the opportunity to work from home and provide inbound customer support to our leading healthcare clients. You will be the first point of contact for members who have inquiries regarding their insurance-related needs, including benefits, eligibility, appeals, grievances, and troubleshooting medical devices. Your goal will be to provide a positive and welcoming experience to members, being empathetic and answering their inquiries thoroughly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inbound customer support via phone, email, or chat
- Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed-upon procedures
- Assess all in-bound calls to accurately and efficiently address member's needs by maintaining a strong customer focus
- Be patient and compassionate while working as a team player and using all available resources to provide the best outcome to the member
- Be efficient in navigating multiple systems and delivering expert customer experiences with a smile
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for helping others and a strong customer service orientation. You should have a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience and a verifiable High School diploma or GED. Basic computer navigation skills and PC knowledge are also required, as well as proficiency in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. You should be eager to learn new technologies and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
