Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to join our team in South Dakota, USA. As a key member of our Customer Achievement Network (CFN) team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our card members, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. Your primary focus will be on processing card member account renovations, inquiries, and requests, as well as providing ongoing support to our operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide meaningful expertise and ongoing support to operations and go-to-market initiatives
  • Handle preservation-related queries, such as balance, statement, APR, and other preservation requests with integrity and within precise timeframes
  • Respond to all customer queries in a timely and complete manner, maintaining a customer-first ethos
  • Supply colleagues, customer, and shareholder metrics as per dreams
  • Highlight issues through feedback and advise changes in workflows, processes, service levels, based on customer demands to meet their needs and ensure first-class service is always given
  • Ensure adherence to quality and compliance guidelines
  • Assist with any new tasks in the directorate
  • Balance customer pursuits with the pursuits of American Express
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to understand and record vital records

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bank-end operations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Compliance with company guidelines and approaches
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Superb customer service skills, including superior written and verbal communication skills
