About the Role: Senior Data Architect - Voice of the Customer Strategy

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team in Cabo Verde, working remotely on a live chat platform. As a Senior Data Architect, you will play a critical role in transforming and innovating our Voice of the Customer (VoC) strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement a cutting-edge VoC platform. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product and process owners, subject matter specialists, and the agile technology team to design and implement the VoC strategy, sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the survey and dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics.
  • Work closely with utility teams to define, frame, and capture business needs, and develop a robust data model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions.
  • Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.
  • Provide guidance to enhance competencies to drive efficiency in computing programs using the big data ecosystem.
  • Power customer story evaluation and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and explore and build automation tools.
  • Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Operate closely with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, enhance, and test the data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end strategy.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in development using Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, shell scripting languages, and development launch management and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects.
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies of delivery, where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including dating managers, product owners, and subject matter specialists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business growth and customer satisfaction through data-driven insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Qualtrics and Cornerstone platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of big data technologies, including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python.
  • Experience with data modeling and data architecture.
  • Certifications in data architecture or related fields.
