About Amazon's 3P Marketplace
Amazon's 3P marketplace is a platform where third-party sellers can list and sell their products to millions of customers worldwide. As an Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and onboarding high-potential sellers to our platform, providing them with best practices and insights to help them succeed. Your goal will be to maximize our product selection and customer base, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Insights: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global trends. Monitor competitor efforts and identify opportunities to stay ahead.
- Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Prospect and acquire high-ability sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
- Seller Enablement and Support: Guide sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, providing data-driven insights to help them achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor issues, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving.
- Performance and Growth: Exceed income objectives using consultative and solutions-focused processes, demonstrating achievement in promoting nascent products/offering into new markets.
Primary Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Business Experience: 1-3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Sales Achievement: Demonstrated achievement in exceeding income objectives using consultative and solutions-focused processes.
- Communication and Presentation: Advanced conversation and presentation abilities, with a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs.
- Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical abilities and quantitative skills, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Commercial Enterprise Judgment: Remarkable commercial enterprise judgment with strong written and oral communication talents.
Preferred Qualifications
- E-commerce Experience: 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
- Consumer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
- Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
