Key Responsibilities

  • Work with individuals who have psychiatric conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, or behavioral health challenges to support their career goals and aspirations.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching, guidance, and mentorship to help individuals gain skills, build confidence, and achieve greater independence in their chosen careers.
  • Collaborate with families, friends, employers, and other support staff to create a network of support that fosters success and promotes the well-being of the individuals we serve.
  • Monitor work progress, track daily achievements, and assess the effectiveness of various employment and vocational programs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Travel to various work sites in the community to provide hands-on support to both employers and individuals, demonstrating appropriate social interactions and serving as a role model.
  • Manage daily operations at a program, facility, or community employment setting, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, community partners, and other stakeholders to create opportunities for the individuals we serve.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in a field such as social work, psychology, or a related area.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and writing skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A current, valid US driver's license for at least one year, with a clean driving record.
  • The ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MED certified within 150 days of employment.
  • A willingness to undergo a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, and driving record check.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with diverse needs, including mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges.
  • A proven track record of success in a coaching or mentoring role, with a strong understanding of the skills and competencies required for success in this position.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package that includes:

  • A hourly rate of $19.50.
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for employees working 30 hours or more.
