Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in our organization, working closely with clients to provide guidance and support throughout their mental health journey. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions via remote platforms, ensuring a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their concerns.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs and goals.
• Establishing a strong rapport with clients, built on empathy, trust, and effective communication.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A valid license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and clinical counseling practices.
• Proficiency in individual and group therapy techniques, with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Qualifications
