Key Responsibilities

• Instruct small groups of students in math core skills, focusing on long-term understanding and application of concepts
• Track student progress, identifying areas of improvement and providing individualized growth opportunities

• Mentor middle and high school students, providing empathy and support during the college application process
• Model professionalism, maintaining strong organizational skills, and replying to students in a timely manner

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in mathematics and education. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM field (Master's or higher preferred)
• Teaching experience in math, preferably in a college-level tutoring center or similar setting (1+ years)
• A GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites
