Job Summary

As a Weekend After Hours Customer Service/Dispatch Representative, you will be responsible for handling customer service requests, appointment booking, customer questions, complaints, and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism. Your goal will be to resolve customer issues with a one-call resolution, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls from customers and assist or route calls to the appropriate person
  • Maintain good customer relations and provide exceptional service to our customers
  • Handle and resolve a variety of customer concerns, complaints, and questions by phone, email, chat, and other communication channels
  • Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching, exploring answers/alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved issues
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information and accurately dispositioning calls
  • Continually maintain working knowledge of all company products, services, and promotions
  • Work to improve accuracy in scheduling and speed of response

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of experience working in customer service or another customer-facing environment
  • Experience or training in the use of computers and related systems in an administrative office environment
  • Excellent customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills to communicate with customers and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns
  • Ability to work effectively in both a team and an independent environment
  • Ability to make decisions based on established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize work based on service demands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding and knowledge of the HVAC/Refrigeration Industry is an asset
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Certification or training in customer service or a related field
