Job Summary
As a Customer Care Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting our plan members with their pharmacy benefit plans. You will take inbound calls and answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions, providing solutions to help simplify their healthcare experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Take inbound calls from plan members and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions
- Offer solutions to help simplify plan members' healthcare experiences
- Utilize your skills and knowledge to address plan members' concerns and resolve issues
- Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and insurance
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Certification in customer service or a related field
