Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and product partners to identify trends and opportunities, and solve complex business problems
• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions
• Define and evaluate key performance metrics for new product launches, and develop data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product initiatives
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis
• Work with data stewards and data engineering teams to gather and process data from various sources
• Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders, and build strong relationships with business partners

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Strong exploratory data analysis skills, with the ability to make logical, data-driven recommendations and solutions
• Experience with languages used to manipulate data and extract insights from large datasets, such as SQL, Python, and Presto
• Strong storytelling skills, with experience using data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Looker
• Experience with data quality tools, such as Google DataPlex, Collibra Data Quality, or SAS Data Management

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experiences will be considered a plus:

• Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca
• Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines, and working with job scheduling frameworks
• Experience processing complex data on cloud platforms, such as Google BigQuery and Hive
• Experience working on Data Modeling (E-R) and having strong BI concepts
• Basic understanding of machine learning models and statistical concepts
• Prior experience in the retail or financial services industries
