About the Role
As a Customer Engineer, Machine Learning, Healthcare, you'll be part of our Google Cloud team, working closely with clients to understand their technical challenges and develop tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key client technical pain points, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
- Provide machine learning expertise to support technical engagements with Google's clients, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and collaboration with product management to prioritize solutions driving customer adoption of Google Cloud.
- Work with clients to demonstrate and model Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise models, platforms, and application foundations to implement comprehensive solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
- Travel to client sites, meetings, and other related events on an as-needed basis.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A four-year certification in Software Engineering, Designing, or comparable practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry in an information designing role.
- Experience with Big Data (e.g., Hadoop/Flash), Machine Learning (e.g., Tensor Flow), and programming frameworks (e.g., Python, Java).
- Experience with HIPAA, GDPR, and other legal guidelines around healthcare data.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- A graduate degree in Software Engineering or other specialized fields.
- 7+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry in a client-facing cloud computing role.
- Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data patterns and issues within organizations.
- Experience building machine learning solutions and utilizing specific machine learning architectures (e.g., deep learning, LSTM, convolutional networks, etc.).
- Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
