Content Moderation Rater: The First Point of Contact for Customer Issues

As a Content Moderation Rater, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, owning and solving issues from start to finish. You'll work with customers via phone, chat, and/or email to troubleshoot software and/or device issues, delivering fast customized solutions and creating support tickets to provide the fastest and easiest resolution. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist our community and help resolve inquiries empathetically, accurately, and on time
  • Become and remain knowledgeable about products and community standards
  • Make well-balanced decisions and be personally driven to be an effective advocate for our community
  • Display strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and empathy
  • Troubleshoot software and/or device issues and deliver fast customized solutions
  • Create support tickets to provide the fastest and easiest resolution

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Content Moderation Rater, you'll need:

  • Impeccable communication and writing skills
  • General curiosity about how and why things work the way they do
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts
  • Ability to empathize with users and convey confidence through written interactions
  • Well-versed in chat and email etiquette, with a fine-tuned attention to detail
  • Moderate-level expertise in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • 1+ years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having experience in content moderation, technical support, or a related field can be a plus. We're also looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and have a strong understanding of community standards.
