Job Summary

As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic and technical support to clients, managing integration projects, and driving business growth through innovative solutions. You will work closely with a team of technical account managers, product managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and business-critical solutions. Your expertise in technical account management, cloud computing, and integration testing will be essential in driving client success and shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage integration projects with a portfolio of third-party applications and service provider integrators that need to be integrated into the Amazon Purchase with Prime merchant offerings.
  • Work with 3P partners to set and meet milestones to deliver high-quality integration projects on a regular basis.
  • Manage a team of Technical Account Managers directly reporting to you in various regions, including onboarding, escalation handling, and career development goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients/groups to define requirements, test data integrity, validate business processes, and deliver product offerings.
  • Partner with development, PM, and SA teams on documentation, validation best practices, security risks, troubleshooting, and testing.
  • Work closely with partners and internal security teams to design, propose, and execute industry-level best practices related to security and risk for SaaS applications and 3P integrations.
  • Manage the operational relationships with partners of small to large enterprise-level organizations and ensure their products are set up for success.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively assist with safeguarding your partner's security and application solutions architecture.

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will work closely with a team of technical professionals, collaborate with external clients, and drive technical strategies that shape the future of our business. You will define processes that enable the team to scale, and design tools that ensure developers can validate their solutions and integrations. You and the team will provide critical feedback to sales support teams and internal development teams on how technical integrations and applications work with both client tech stacks and internal APIs.

Requirements

Essential Capabilities

  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in a technical account management position or similar roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical degree is required.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) status in at least one area (AWS, APIs, Integration testing) and understanding of the architecture and operational boundaries of 3P applications, enough to manage escalations effectively.
  • Experience with operational boundaries and troubleshooting for Security/Applications Development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Internal project or external client-facing experience as a technical lead.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, prioritize responsibilities among evolving priorities, maintain attention to detail, and work independently.
  • Data-driven and demonstrates good working knowledge of metrics, KPIs, and SLAs and puts them into practice in delivering results.
  • Experience managing remote teams with diverse backgrounds and ranges of skills.

  • 3 years of experience in driving and managing direct reports and teams.

  • Experience as an SME and escalation point for project teams, developers, and internal colleagues.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple functional roles, including Solution Architects, Architects, and Product Managers.
  • History of managing and troubleshooting technical projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
