Job Summary
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. You will be responsible for providing general administrative support, handling multi-line telephone calls, and interacting with customers face-to-face or vocally. Your goal will be to offer solutions that meet customer needs, facilitate a unique customer service experience, and represent Copart in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers through various communication channels, including telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
 - Payment Processing: Receive and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
 - System Updates: Update lot (vehicle) notes in the system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
 - Telephone and Customer Interaction: Answer multi-line telephone calls in a professional manner and interact with customers face-to-face or vocally, providing solutions to meet their needs.
 - Resource Utilization: Use company resources to gather information and offer solutions to customers.
 - Client Communication: Contact clients to obtain vehicle pick-up information and provide updates as necessary.
 - Document Management: File documents according to established criteria and process mail (incoming and outgoing) per company guidelines.
 - Reporting and Interpretation: Read and interpret various reports and documents to stay informed and make informed decisions.
 - Sale Document Completion: Ensure proper completion of sale documents to facilitate smooth transactions.
 - Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and company objectives.
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma required.
 - Experience: One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred.
 - Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and attitude, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
 - Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
 - Technical Skills: Proficient with office equipment and computer systems, including Microsoft Suite.
 - Typing Speed: Typing speed of 45 words per minute (WPM) or higher.
 - Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
 - Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and offer solutions.
