We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced Remote School Psychologist to join our virtual team and provide comprehensive school psychological services to students in Ohio from the comfort of your home.
Position Summary:
The Remote School Psychologist will support K–12 students across Ohio through virtual assessments, consultation, and counseling. This role involves conducting psychoeducational evaluations, contributing to eligibility determinations, developing student support plans, and participating in IEP and MTSS/RTI meetings—all in a virtual school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual psychoeducational assessments for special education eligibility using digital tools and standardized testing procedures.
• Interpret assessment data and communicate findings clearly to parents, educators, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents on academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions.
• Support implementation of MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) and RTI (Response to Intervention) frameworks.
• Deliver virtual counseling services, behavior plans, and mental health supports as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services, in accordance with Ohio Department of Education regulations and school district requirements.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
• Stay up-to-date with state and federal special education laws, as well as best practices in virtual school psychology.
Qualifications:
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved program.
• Current and valid Ohio Department of Education School Psychologist License.
• Experience in school settings, with a strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and MTSS processes.
• Proficiency in conducting virtual evaluations using secure digital platforms.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, professional home workspace.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience providing school psychology services in a remote or hybrid setting.
• Familiarity with digital assessment platforms (e.g., Q-interactive, Pearson Q-global, WPS Online).
• Knowledge of Ohio’s IEP systems (e.g., IEP Anywhere, ProgressBook).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• NASP Certification (NCSP) is preferred but not required.
