Job Overview: Insurance Customer Service Representative (P&C Licensed)
We're seeking an experienced and licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a Customer Service Rep, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers who have been placed with one of our partnered insurance companies. You'll work in a fast-paced inbound call center environment, utilizing multiple programs and systems to resolve customer needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls from existing customers, resolving their needs quickly and efficiently using multiple programs and systems simultaneously.
 - Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of insurance requirements and carrier guidelines across multiple states and carriers.
 - Respond to customer inquiries related to coverages, billing, and policy history.
 - Proactively identify and assess customer needs, offering our services to ensure they're placed with the best coverage for their requirements.
 - Resolve customer issues, process payments, answer questions, and process endorsements.
 - Maintain an in-depth understanding of our software, products, and processes.
 - Meet high call quality (QA) score, process adherence, and productivity metrics.
 - Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Essential Qualifications:
- Resident state P&C license.
 - Strong attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and entering data.
 - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
 - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 - Reliable internet connection.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of customer service experience in the non-standard market, preferably in a multi-insurance carrier/rater environment.
 - Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment.
 - Ability to multitask using multiple screens and navigate several carrier platforms and systems simultaneously.
 - Proactive approach to personal development, welcoming coaching as an opportunity to improve.
 - High energy and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented, goal-driven environment.
 - Experience with named non-owner policies, understanding SR-22 and FR-44 state filings is a plus.
 - Bilingual skills are a plus.
