About the Role: Associate Analyst IT CTS

The Associate Analyst IT CTS (Crewmember Technology Services) is a critical role that provides technical support to JetBlue Crewmembers. As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for delivering first and second-level support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution of Crewmember requests. This role is not just about technical support; it's about being part of a team that values safety, integrity, and fun, embodying the core values of JetBlue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support for all JetBlue equipment and applications, including communication and cell phones, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Client Care: Deliver exceptional on-site and remote client care to JetBlue Crewmembers, addressing their technical needs promptly and professionally.
  • Issue Resolution: Coordinate the resolution of incidents/requests from start to finish, leveraging both internal and external resources to achieve timely and effective solutions.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and support systems, maintain and uphold client access, and work with software package rollouts and support to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Team up with all Data Innovation (IT) disciplines to achieve first-contact resolution with all issues, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of requests per JetBlue standards and keep database documentation updated with the most relevant information.
  • Crisis Management: Coordinate response for major incidents and outages, playing a crucial role in maintaining business continuity.
  • Flexibility: Be available for short-term travel (up to half) and possess valid travel documents with the ability to travel throughout Jamaica and the US.

Essential Qualifications and Capabilities

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Secondary School Certificate or General Education Development (GED) Certificate.
  • Experience supporting the latest operating systems or successful completion of IT for Everyone certificate via Coursera.
  • Experience implementing and supporting applications.
  • Proficiency in using desktop application bundles.
  • The ability to be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located (no visa sponsorship available).

Preferred Insights and Capabilities

While not mandatory, having the following skills and knowledge will make you a more competitive candidate:

  • Certifications in Microsoft, Networking, or programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server products, Trade and Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with LAN environments using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
  • Understanding of communication, messaging, and system (VOIP and POTS) technologies.
  • Experience with cell phones and MDM solutions like Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune.
  • Knowledge of Social Media solutions.
