The Food and Refreshment team plays a critical role in delivering a consistent and exceptional guest experience by ensuring that products are fresh, in stock, and accurately priced and promoted on the sales floor. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of this team, providing top-notch service to Target guests and driving sales growth through effective communication and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to Target guests via phone, email, or chat, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Understand and communicate Target's sales objectives, promotions, and policies to guests, driving sales growth and guest satisfaction.
- Work a flexible schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Model guest service standards, delivering a fresh and full experience during all open hours, and developing team members who share product knowledge with guests.
- Support the Food and Refreshment team by ensuring that back-of-house areas, production areas, dining spaces, and marketing spaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Lead and develop a team of hourly team members, providing coaching, training, and feedback to drive performance and guest satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Strong interest and knowledge of the food service industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
