About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Account Development Manager to join our team, focused on driving revenue growth and customer success in assigned accounts. As a Field Sales Executive, you will identify customer needs and apply our company's value proposition to drive sales growth and improved profitability. You will develop strategic relationships and align customer and business goals, creating and managing a business and execution plan for shared success among the customer, vendor partners, and Avnet.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer interface to Avnet's resources, driving and supporting high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
 - Develop strong, strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage their business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers to deliver the appropriate business value proposition sales solution strategy.
 - Provide leadership and guidance in critical customer planning and engagement.
 - Perform critical customer analysis to identify and leverage partner marketing programs to achieve growth in their customer's solutions capability.
 - Engage customers in joint planning that integrates Avnet's services, programs, and supplier partnerships, securing customer commitment for the development of a comprehensive investment in strategies that advance Avnet's market position, entanglement, and financial goals.
 - Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to track progress toward revenue and growth goals and own execution of the business plan.
 - Maintain and monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, perform analysis, and identify improvement opportunities.
 - Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customers to maximize profitable growth and customer expansion.
 - Prioritize customers and opportunities with the greatest potential for success.
 - Closely manage profitability by minimizing profit leaks and maximizing gross profit.
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts.
 - An understanding of emerging market trends and interdependencies impacting customers, and the ability to leverage this understanding to expand relationships with your customers.
 - Developed sales expertise across a defined portfolio of products/services/accounts, with the ability to apply expertise in a complex sales environment.
 - The ability to work independently or lead teams to identify, pursue, or manage accounts/opportunities with large size/strategic importance/risk of loss.
 - A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
 - Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Recognition as an expert in one area, with a high level of complexity in territory/account, products/services, sales, or account management process.
 - Experience working in a technology distribution or solutions company.
 - A proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer success.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $160,000 - $185,000 OTE based on experience. In addition to your salary, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:
