We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team, supporting our financial planning systems and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

This position will be part of our partner association within the Financial Planning Systems space, requiring a mixed background of finance and IT experience. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and developing Financial Systems applications, acting as an internal consultant to determine automation opportunities, and creating/providing suitable solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials
  • Validating the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators
  • Investigating and resolving issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
  • Maintaining system maintenance; keeping up with client permissions
  • Supporting clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models
  • Assisting with the preparation of in-depth scenarios and analytical results analyses on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses
  • Coordinating and completing the monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion
  • Updating Hyperion Planning with organizational changes; coordinating hierarchical structure changes with Regulators and GL organization
  • Communicating with work groups to determine reporting business requirements; proposing and presenting efficient solutions
  • Creating Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training
  • 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, as well as financial modeling and analysis
  • Solid IT foundation, including experience with Oracle and multi-dimensional and relational database structures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and implementation experience (including Business Intelligence, Essbase, Planning)
  • Skills, Licenses, and Certificates:
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical approaches relating to financial issues
  • Ability to issue solve, module, and analyze data
  • Meticulous with a focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and so on
  • Solid communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills with proven ability to work effectively in diverse situations
