Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, USA. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing planning support to the maintenance and movement of aircraft and related equipment. You will be an integral part of our Planning Group within the Integrated Operations Division, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive salary of $25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct planning for Engineers in areas of expertise
  • Act as a guide for various Engineers
  • Lead or facilitate project management or issue resolution efforts
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and administrative specialists, as required, to ensure that planning attitudes are properly approved according to material rules and Company manuals
  • Develop modified methods and unique models for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance activities
  • Stay informed about ordinary carrier activities, including field of risk, and assess ordinary requirements according to aircraft/departmental objectives and management commands
  • Investigate aircraft/part gives that could cause aircraft delays or withdrawals, critical uses in labor supply or materials, or breaks in maintenance tasks, and determine appropriate corrective actions
  • Provide planning support to resolve discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or parts
  • Answer requests from Maintenance and other aircraft departments when specialized assistance is required to support activities or resolve issues
  • Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and part planning efforts and pursue indisputable attitudes according to assessed needs
  • Collaborate with other aircraft departments to accommodate strong and capable execution of planning habits
  • Prepare planning reports to implement specific habits by providing modified procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities
  • Stay up-to-date on current and impending regulations that impact areas of responsibility and ensure that all planning activities comply with relevant authoritative requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Planning field or related Planning degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant field
  • A&P license
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to analyze specific data and make data-driven decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Science
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to design and deliver presentations that encourage approval of arrangements
  • Ability to effectively engage with internal and external clients
