Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Energy Services Data Entry Clerk (Typist) to join our team. As a valued member of our Energy Services Programs, you will play a crucial role in maintaining organized and up-to-date digital files to support the day-to-day operations of our programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Input and maintain updated client status records in the Statewide Client Service Center, reflecting the current production pipeline.
  • Monitor emails, logging documents, and communications in the Monday.com platform upon receipt.
  • Follow program guidelines for the use of all required database systems, including Monday.com, CMS, CSG eConservation, HEARTWAP, LIHEAP, In Demand, etc.
  • Maintain organized digital and paper participant files in accordance with program guidelines, ensuring compliance with agency and funder requirements.
  • Collaborate with program staff to support, enhance, and promote communication and consistency in the delivery of services.
  • Assist with various clerical duties, such as filing, mailings, phone coverage, etc.
  • Maintain availability for remote work, attending meetings, calls, responding to emails, and conducting regular duties as needed.
  • Attend all required staff meetings, supervision, training, and contractual meetings.
  • Participate in mandatory agency training and other relevant professional development activities.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the role.
  • Perform related work as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two years of experience in Human Service or a related field, or applicable work experience working with diverse individuals and families with low incomes.
  • Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience, or additional directly related experience may be substituted for education.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

  • Experience working with database management systems, such as Monday.com, CMS, and CSG eConservation.
  • Knowledge of energy services programs and policies.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or human services environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
