About the Role: Senior Data Architect - Voice of the Customer Analytics
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer method. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with product and process owners, subject matter specialists from Qualtrics, and the Agile team in Technology to design and build a robust data model architecture. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for:
- Helping to improve and preserve the new Voice of the Customer technique sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the survey and dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics
- Working closely with utility teams to define, frame, and capture business needs
- Growing information about Voice of the Customer methods and leveraging them to define and transform data within the Cornerstone large data platform
- Designing and building robust data model architectures to support fulfilling statistics processing and standardized metric definitions
- Enabling big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use case levels
- Providing guidance to enhance competencies to drive efficiency in computing programs using massive data ecosystems
- Powering consumer story evaluation & elaboration, design and development of software programs, exploring & building automation tools
- Proactively selecting and automating manual obligations to improve quality and efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize, define, enhance, and test data for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end technique
- Develop and maintain large-scale data architectures, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security
- Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data marts to support business intelligence and analytics
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for data architectures, data models, and data processing procedures
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, Shell scripting languages, development launch management, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven tasks for at least 3+ years
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Agile methodologies and delivery, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders across the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Qualtrics and Cornerstone
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and technologies
- Experience with data visualization tools and reporting
