Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our Customer Care division, working from home and assisting our plan members with their pharmacy benefit plans. You'll take inbound calls, answer questions, and provide solutions to help simplify their healthcare experience. This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule, offering the opportunity to balance your priorities in and outside of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take inbound calls from plan members and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer questions regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions
- Offer solutions to help simplify healthcare experiences and address member concerns
- Utilize computer systems and software to access and update member information
- Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience interacting with customers in a call center, retail, or customer service environment
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
- High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to problem-solve in a positive and productive manner
- Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life
- Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
- Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
- Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
- Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
