Job Summary

As a Senior Data Analyst - Customer Support and Insights, you will play a critical role in analyzing complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise in data analysis, modeling, and visualization will help inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop insights that inform business decisions
  • Design and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data visualizations and reports that meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain complex data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making
  • Work with data engineers and stage leads to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to others on data analysis and best practices
  • Proactively communicate status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain processes and best practices for data analysis and visualization

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with large, complex, and diverse datasets in enterprise-scale data warehousing or data engineering environments
  • 5 years of experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines to deliver high-quality data
  • Experience with Python or similar technologies
  • Experience with data modeling tools like ERWIN, Visio
  • 5+ years of experience working with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, Hadoop, Google Big Query, DataPlex, Amazon Redshift, Hive, etc.
  • Experience with reporting tools like Tableau or Looker
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Digdag
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and GitLab
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and workflow management tools
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies and big data systems
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality using tools like Collibra

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing data and analytics
  • Exposure to analytical trends, machine learning, and data science
  • Experience building logical solutions applicable to Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing business units
  • Experience implementing functional best practices, such as monitoring, alerting, approval, and exception handling
  • Ability to combine data into meaningful insights and contribute to developing, executing, and documenting business and technical processes
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to address specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams and influencing them with solutions in a dynamic environment
