About Our Company and the Role

Faneuil, a Continuum Global Solutions LLC company, is seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative to support our client's healthcare services. As a remote representative, you'll be the face of our company, providing top-notch service to US-based members and providers who have questions about their health, wellness, pre-authorizations, copayments, and prescription plans. This is a 100% remote opportunity based in Texas, with scheduled work hours based on the Pacific time zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls in both English and Spanish from US customers, addressing their questions and concerns regarding healthcare benefits.
  • Actively listen to customers to understand their concerns and build a rapport that makes them feel heard and cared for.
  • Provide essential information to members regarding access to care issues, benefits, proof of coverage, and member handbooks.
  • Guide callers through troubleshooting and navigating self-service options using our company site and/or products and services.
  • Utilize client-specific knowledge systems to research and review multiple documents, ensuring compliance with government audits.
  • Empathize and resolve concerns to simplify the customer's healthcare experience.
  • Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy.
  • Adapt to learn new call types as business needs change and flex support in those areas.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • A minimum of 1 year of previous experience as a health plan call center agent (member service, provider service, pharmacy plan member service).
  • Medicare and/or Medicaid experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • High computer proficiency and navigation of multiple applications.
  • Willingness to work any shift between 10:00 am - 1:00 am, 7 days a week, Eastern Standard Time, including holidays and weekends.

  • A hard-wired internet connection via ethernet cable to modem/router that you own/are responsible for.
  • A dedicated, quiet, and secured workspace with no distractions.
  • A USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $16 per hour for bilingual Spanish speakers, plus overtime during peak needs. You'll also have access to:
