Job Summary
As a Business Analyst III, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify areas of value, develop solutions, and deliver insights that drive business decisions. You'll work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support business initiatives, identify implementation barriers, and develop project plans. Your expertise will help us enhance performance management and operational reports, incorporate best practices into business applications, and lead problem-solving efforts between various business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers, and development of documentation and project planning
 - Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions, and assist with implementation
 - Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports
 - Support identification of and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications and processes
 - Lead problem-solving and coordination efforts between various business units
 - Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures
 - Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned functions, products, or analytic domains in support of strategic objectives
 - Provide process and requirements guidance to junior analysts
 - Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards
 
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or a related field
 - At least 4 years of experience in business process, data analysis, or requirements analysis
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable insights
 - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different business units
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- A Master's degree in a related field
 - Healthcare, analytics delivery, project management, and/or IT experience
 - Experience working with Medicaid programs and reconciliation processes

- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software
 - Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
- Competitive pay, with a salary range of $68,700 - $123,700 per year
