Key Responsibilities

  • Follow client-approved messaging for each campaign on every call, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in our fundraising efforts.
  • Adhere to a structured fundraising call approach, engaging prospects and conveying the importance of their support.
  • Connect emotionally with prospects, serving as an enthusiastic brand ambassador for our non-profit partners and the Catapult Fundraising team.
  • Make a compelling case for financial support on every call, highlighting the impact of donations on the lives of individuals and communities.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and meet dress code requirements, even in a remote work setting, to ensure a productive and focused work environment.
  • Uphold a positive attitude and demeanor, contributing to a healthy and supportive team culture.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel as a Part-Time Call Center Fundraising Specialist, you'll need:

  • Superior customer service skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude on every call.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with prospects and convey our message.
  • A friendly and engaging phone presence, with the ability to remain calm and objective in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using phone and Microsoft computer systems, ensuring seamless execution of our fundraising efforts.
  • A genuine desire to help others and an understanding of the importance of non-profits in our society, aligning with our mission and values.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your application:

  • Previous experience in fundraising, customer service, or a related field.
  • A background in sales or telemarketing, with a proven track record of success.

What We Offer

  • A competitive starting hourly rate of $13.00, with pay increases after 90 days, six months, and one year.
  • A flexible scheduling arrangement, with standard shift hours on Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM CST or Sundays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM CST, and Friday Flex from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST.
