We're now seeking a talented and driven individual to join our sales team on a part-time basis, working approximately 20-25 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales, ensuring flawless retail execution, and maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Selling and maintaining 100% distribution of authorized Hershey items in your assigned territory, ensuring seamless execution of Headquarters Sales and Merchandising Plans.
  • Achieving merchandising objectives through the effective use of Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles.
  • Reporting weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions within your territory.
  • Submitting daily activity reports using tablet technology.
  • Managing your sales territory, which may vary in size, number of retailers, and location.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid US state-issued driver's license.
  • A personal vehicle in sound operating condition, with minimum auto insurance coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage.
  • The ability to drive long distances (approximately 55 miles per day) to make multiple sales calls.
  • Physical stamina to lift 10-40 lbs. and perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Proficiency in using tablet technology and having daily access to wireless internet.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
  • Availability to work 20-25 hours per week, with a schedule that overlaps core hours (6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday).
  • A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of experience in food merchandising (preferred but not required).
