Key Responsibilities
- Develop Embedded C++ Software or Computer Vision Algorithms for John Deere's Automation & Autonomy Group, contributing to the advancement of innovative products and solutions.
 - Perform basic software development utilizing C++, Python, and/or testing and analysis work for a defined portion of a project, ensuring high-quality outcomes and adherence to project requirements.
 - Operate in an Agile software development team, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews to ensure that products meet the company's high standards.
 - Develop recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by technical leads before implementation, ensuring that your contributions are valued and effective.
 
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university.
 - Have a graduation date of May 2025 or later.
 - Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
 - Be available to work during the academic year (16-20 hours weekly) and during the summer semester (30-40 hours weekly).
 - Be available to work 100% remotely during the spring, summer, and fall semesters, with the possibility of occasional onsite work.
 - Be willing and able to undertake job-related trips as necessary to support project work during the summer months (less than 10% of time expected).
 - Pursue a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
 
Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Have already completed a Bachelor's degree and are pursuing a Master's or Ph.D.
