About the Role: Change Order Representative
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Change Order Representative to join our remote team. As a Change Order Representative, you'll play a critical role in reviewing changes on existing patient orders, ensuring that our patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities
- Review and Process Change Orders: Enter demographics and other pertinent information into our digital system, ensuring completion of all change order paperwork.
 - Verify Insurance Coverage: Verify insurance coverage, explain benefit information to patients and case managers, and collect and process payments as applicable.
 - Patient Needs Assessment: Identify patients' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions.
 - Authorization Submissions: Responsible for authorization submissions and authorization follow-up, meeting daily expectations.
 - CRX and Prescription Validation: Determine a CRX and a valid prescription with formula calculation knowledge.
 - Insurance and Payor Portal Navigation: Utilize insurance and payor portal navigation knowledge to efficiently process change orders.
 - Metrics and Goals: Meet daily, monthly, and quarterly metrics and goals set by management.
 - Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments to present solutions to any patient concerns.
 - Compliance: Ensure work being performed meets internal and external compliance requirements.
 - Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all information and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
 - Clerical Work: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, scanning, and copying.
 
Essential Qualifications
- High School Graduate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
 - Proven Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a related field.
 - Microsoft Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Education or Experience Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree: Education or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred.
 - Home Health/DME Related Experience: Home Health/DME related experience is preferred, with knowledge of insurances being a plus.
