About the Role
As a Clinical Specialist Consultant, you will be responsible for reviewing scales administered by raters in clinical trials to ensure standardized assessments and data reliability. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating the quality of assessments, conducting live interactions with raters, and providing guidance on assessment methodology and scoring techniques. This is a remote opportunity that requires fluency in English and a native speaker proficiency in one of the following languages: Oriya, Panjabi (eastern), Kannada, Malayalam, Assamese, or Bengali.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in orientation, training, and calibration activities as required to ensure a deep understanding of the clinical trial and assessment tools.
- Evaluate case data and prepare for discussions with raters, ensuring a thorough review of relevant issues and scale items.
- Conduct rater interactions and complete assigned tasks as scheduled, maintaining timely submission of all associated documentation.
- Perform functional assessments of rater performance, such as mock interviews, to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing and disseminating communications to raters and other stakeholders, promoting best practices in assessment and data collection.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A Master's degree (MA/MS) in Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or Social Work, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience administering psychiatric assessments, ratings scales, and/or structured clinical interviews.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience working with related psychiatric populations.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience administering scales in clinical research trials, excluding graduate or doctoral research work.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various personnel and clientele.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office system and applications.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, experience in central nervous system (CNS) trials is highly preferred, as it demonstrates a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in clinical research.
