The Role

As a Cloud & Technical System Administrator & Configurator, you will be the technology "generalist" responsible for ensuring the stability of application platforms, integrity of core data, system integrations, general reporting, and the overall insurance technology landscape. Reporting to the COO, this work-from-home role requires a strong and diverse skillset to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Platform Administration:
    • Design, build, and maintain the Cloud platform used to transfer data files between systems and partners.
    • Set up and configure SFTP, VPN tunnels, and other data transfer technologies.
    • Ensure data transfer technologies are functioning as designed and resolve issues with transfer errors, missing files, unavailable sites, etc.
  • Master Vehicle Ingestion and Maintenance:
    • Design, build, and maintain the master vehicle ingestion and maintenance process between the third-party vehicle data provider and Majesco vehicle schema.
    • Establish and configure bulk data load and maintenance processes between data source and destination.
    • Resolve issues with data quality, transfer errors, etc.
  • Data Sharing/Integration Issues:
    • Investigate and resolve data sharing/integration issues between systems and partners.
    • Address rejected data, missing data, and other data issues across multiple internal and external platforms.
    • Monitor applicable system logs for any anomalies.
  • General Reporting Functions:
    • Support general reporting functions, including creation of PowerBI data visualizations, Excel spreadsheet extracts, and other reports from the Majesco Intelligent Core, HubSpot CRM, and other systems.
    • Create and debug basic SQL reporting queries.
  • Majesco Policy and Data Suite Administration:
    • Serve as the technical administrator for the Majesco policy and data suite.
    • Coordinate Majesco upgrades (2X to 4X a year).
    • Submit, coordinate, and monitor technical issue/request tickets with Majesco.
    • Perform general configuration of the Majesco system, including security/roles, batch setup, etc.
  • Technical Liaison:
    • Act as the technical liaison for 3rd party software applications and supporting service providers.
  • Business Analysis and Quality Assurance:
    • Perform business analysis and quality assurance functions as needed.

Who You Are

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5 years of technical experience with SQL, SFTP, PowerBI, and Excel.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with insurance data is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt and improvise in dynamic and evolving environments.
