Job Summary
As a Data Entry Representative, you will be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, identifying and resolving eligibility edits, and referring other edits to Claims Examiners. This is an initial 3-month contract with potential extensions up to 2 years, offering a stable and long-term career opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter claims data into data management systems accurately and efficiently
- Identify and resolve eligibility edits, and refer other edits to Claims Examiners
- Meet daily production and quality standards, with a focus on attention to detail
- Work with multiple monitors and navigate various systems, including Windows and AS400 (MS DOS)
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel with medium-level skills
- Manage provider data demographics and maintain accurate records
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment
- Prioritize tasks, respond to calls and emails, and maintain effective communication
- Work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience with inputting data into data management systems
- Familiarity with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
- Medium-level skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Comfort working with multiple monitors and navigating various systems
- Experience with provider data demographics and insurance products (medical or dental)
- A background in a production work environment, with a focus on meeting daily metrics
- A flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to daily and weekly changes
- Reliable and self-motivated, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Great attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in the insurance and financial products industry
- Familiarity with data management systems and software applications
