About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Advanced Analytics and Content team, where you'll apply your analytical expertise to enhance our content portfolio, marketing strategies, and delivery systems. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytics techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions
• Analyze customer behavior (e.g., genre preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet customer needs and untapped content opportunities
• Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions
• Optimize our content launch and episode release strategy
• Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention
• Develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic guidance
• Provide ad-hoc analytics support to stakeholders to drive business forward
• Effectively communicate insights through compelling data storytelling across the organization

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Data Analysis
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python
• Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques (decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
• Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
