Who We Are Looking For

We're looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to join our team as an Entry Level Claims Adjuster. As a claims adjuster, you will be responsible for recovering payments for damage claims involving utility company equipment and facilities in a call center environment. You will interact with homeowners, business owners, contractors, insurance companies, and utility company field technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Investigate claims issues and provide information to damagers, including homeowners and contractors
• Negotiate settlements with damagers and insurance companies as applicable
• Review claim information and request/research additional reference material to complete the claim record
• Determine damager liability by obtaining and reviewing evidence, including physical location information, photographs, reports, locate tickets, permit records, internet research, and contact with damagers
• Dispute resolution and respond to damager objections
• Provide detailed data entry into customized claims systems
• Track fees, close and open claims, and other claims information
• Skip tracing as necessary; utilizing internet resources

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Accurate data review and data entry skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize work
• Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented
• Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High-speed internet service required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
• Knowledge of insurance adjusting principles and practices
• Experience with claims software and systems

Education and Experience Requirements

We require a High School diploma or equivalent, and 0-2 years of clerical and/or data input experience. No insurance adjusting experience is required, as we'll provide on-going training and opportunity to obtain insurance adjuster licensure.

We offer a competitive salary and bonus structure, with a base pay of $15.00 per hour, plus monthly bonuses based on performance. Our bonus system allows you to determine how much you can make, with bonuses paid out each month.
