Job Summary
The Commerce Platform Tooling team is looking for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Front-End React Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the commerce configuration tooling platform that is leveraged by business operators managing the commerce platform for all brands (Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, Star+). You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion and implementation of UX patterns, as well as learn about the international landscape and challenges in the area of billing, payments, subscriptions, offers, and promotions as our business initiatives evolve around the world over the next few years.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Front-End React Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Front-end Web Development: Create and support front-end web-based interfaces for our business stakeholders using Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and other mainstream frameworks/libraries.
- API Integrations: Manage API integrations inside Node.js service layers.
- Migration and Integration: Help facilitate migrations from legacy tooling platforms onto the unified tech stack.
- Code Reviews and Architecture: Be involved in code reviews and architecture reviews with other team members.
- Agile Methodology and SCRUM: Participate in Agile methodology and SCRUM processes such as Sprint Planning, Backlog grooming, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives with the team.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Front-end Web Development Experience: 3+ years of experience in front-end web development.
- Education: BS/MS Degree in Computer Science (or related field).
- UX Interface Design: Proficient in designing and implementing complex enterprise UX interfaces.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Typescript/Node.js, Next.js, React.
- Ownership and Delivery: Previous experience taking ownership of features/functionality and delivering projects end-to-end with high quality and robust architecture.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional business partners.
Preferred Qualifications

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Salary: A competitive salary range of $117,998 - $158,290 per year (New York) or $112,600-$151,000 per year (California).
- Bonus and Long-term Incentive Units: A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
