Mobile App Developer (native iOS/Android)

Our client is an EdTech startup based in Stockholm, Sweden that strives to make East Asian language literacy attainable by all through the power of modern technology. They develop language education services that focus on building fluency through the extensive reading learning method. Their top-rated flagship app teaching Chinese is used by 50,000 students every month and is available on iOS, Android, and the web. Its sister appfor Japanese language is currently in the works and will be launched soon. They are a small product team working fully remote with flexible hours, where every member gets to have an impact. We’re looking for a Mobile App Developer that can take charge of developing the app for iOS and Android. The position is full-time remote and we’re looking for someone in European Time zones. As a Mobile App Developer, you will • Write and publish working and maintainable code for the apps • Make architectural decisions for the app • Take charge of app releases • Participate in daily stand-ups with the product team • Work closely with a UX/UI Designer with Lean UX mindset Required skills • 3+ years of experience in native iOS development • Experience in native Android development • English proficiency • Familiar with the development process and design patterns • Experience in creating apps from start to release • Comfortable using relational databases • Experience with Git-based version control We value • Interest in East Asian languages and culture • Some experience in backend development • Lean UX mindset and basic Agile knowledge The Stack • ObjC / Swift for iOS • Java / Kotlin for Android • Ruby on Rails • Vue.js • Angularjs • AWS This offer from "Piller & Partners IT Recruitment" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 77% flex score.
