As a Customer Experience Concierge, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to our clients visiting the American Express Centurion Lounge at IAH Airport. You'll be the face of American Express to our clients, serving as a brand ambassador and delivering unforgettable experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:- Welcoming and engaging with clients upon arrival at the lounge
- Providing personalized service and attention to detail to ensure a seamless experience
- Anticipating and addressing clients' needs and concerns in a proactive and creative way
- Utilizing the Client's First philosophy to address clients' needs and expectations
- Providing travel and lifestyle suggestions and recommendations
- Collaborating with our food and beverage partners to meet the needs of our clients
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a premium or luxury setting
- Experience in a carrier, lounge, or travel industry setting, including reservation experience
- Proven ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients
- Ability to listen actively and respond thoughtfully to clients' needs and concerns
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to deliver exceptional service
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift light to moderate weights for specific tasks
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of American Express products and services
- Experience with technology, including web-based platforms and tools
- Ability to work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
