We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Customer Service Representative to join our team on a fully remote basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members, providers, and customers. About the Role
As an Associate Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, providers, and customers. Your role will involve:
- Providing assistance, service, and education through various channels, including telephone, internet, and written inquiries
 - Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in responding to inquiries, and resolving customer issues with varying complexities
 - Documenting interactions and correspondence in a clear and concise manner, and tracking them appropriately for easy access
 - Applying computer-based skills to navigate multiple systems and internal resources to address inquiries and gather plan details
 - Maintaining a strong knowledge base of insurance terms and practices, as well as various company-offered products
 - Performing work under direct supervision, handling basic issues, and referring complex issues to higher-level staff
 
What You'll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED, combined with 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field
 - 1 year of experience in an office-based setting or contact center environment (highly preferred)
 - A private workspace with fast-paced internet and a hard-wired internet connection
 - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
 - Technology savvy, with the ability to navigate multiple computer programs and application systems
 - A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments
 
We also consider equivalent combinations of education, experience, or training determined to be acceptable by our Human Resources team.
